Schoodic International Sculpture SymposiumWe are proud to be the Creative Sponsor of the Schoodic International Sculpture Symposium a new biennial cultural event that will bring together artists, visitors, and communities for a common goal sculpture for the public. This is a fun and educational way to see how large sculpture is made from one of Maine's natural resourcesgranite. The 2007 Symposium featured programs open to the public
and up to eight artists from Maine, the U.S., and four other countries.
The completed sculptures went to communities in Hancock and Washington
counties in Down East Maine. www.schoodicsculpture.org
