'Art’
performed by the Schoodic Arts Meetinghouse Theatre Lab

'Art’ the award winning play written by Yazmina Reza and translated from the original French by Christopher Hampton will be presented by the Schoodic Arts Meetinghouse Theatre Lab at Hammond Hall in Winter Harbor. The Theatre Lab’s sixth season brings this provocative and witty play about art and friendship involving three fiends; Serge, the fervent convert to modern art, Marc, the rationalist, and Yvan, the spineless vacillator.

Schoodic International Sculpture Symposium

We are proud to be the Creative Sponsor of the Schoodic International Sculpture Symposium — a new biennial cultural event that will bring together artists, visitors, and communities for a common goal —sculpture for the public. This is a fun and educational way to see how large sculpture is made from one of Maine's natural resources—granite.

The 2007 Symposium featured programs open to the public and up to eight artists from Maine, the U.S., and four other countries. The completed sculptures went to communities in Hancock and Washington counties in Down East Maine. www.schoodicsculpture.org
